Imphal, Oct. 17 -- Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla today called for a shift from policy to action in combating climate change, urging that the newly released State Action Plan on Climate Change (Version 2) must lead to tangible outcomes rather than remain a document of intent.
He was addressing the Valedictory Function of the Indian Himalayan Region Climate Change Conclave, held at the City Convention Centre, Imphal.
The two-day conclave, organised by the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Manipur, served as a key platform for research exchange and policy dialogue across the Himalayan region.
