Imphal, June 7 -- Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Saturday chaired a review meetings at Raj Bhavan, here, focusing on the implementation of two programs: the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) and the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).
Governor assessed the progress of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), a flagship initiative under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The ITEP is a four-year dual-major, holistic undergraduate program designed to prepare highly qualified teachers for all four stages of the new school structure.
Commissioner of Education (S), H. Gyan Prakash, provided an update on the ongoing implementation and key milestones of the program in Manipur.
