Imphal, Oct. 1 -- Appealing to the people to be Good Samaritan's Governor of Manipur AK Bhalla today donated blood at JNIMS, Imphal East.
Governor Bhalla donated blood as part of observation of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2025.
Governor said in a social media post, "The day reminds us of the lifesaving power of voluntary blood donation and our collective responsibility to ensure no life is lost for want of blood."The camp was organised by Helping Hands for People Manipur and State Blood Cell, NHM Manipur.
National Voluntary Blood Donation Day is observed every year on October 1. It was first observed on October 1, 1975, by the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology .
