Imphal, Oct. 6 -- Manipur Police, security forces have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking and other illegal activities across the state, resulting in multiple arrests and seizures yesterday.
Police today said two suspected drug traffickers, Md. Ethem Khan and Raju Khan, were arrested from their respective residences in Imphal East district. During the operation, the team seized Rs 38,02,000 in cash and 2 kg of WY tablets, a popular synthetic drug in the region.
Security forces apprehended a person involved in extortion activities from the Keirenphabi Maning Leikai area, Bishnupur district. One mobile phone along with two SIM cards was seized from his possession. Preliminary investigation revealed that he had been collecting m...
