Imphal, Aug. 19 -- Manipur Police has suspended a constable for alleged extortion, while security forces seized a large quantity of drugs from two persons. Police today said that security forces continued to conduct search operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas across districts yesterday. During a search operation, Md. Sajid Khan of Thoubal Moijing, Thoubal district was nabbed from T. Khullen, NH-2 in Senapati district. Psychotropic substances WY tablets weighing approximately 3.2 kg were seized from his possession. Police further stated that there was a report of extortion on Aug 16 at Yairipok Top Chingtha, in Imphal East district.
