Imphal, Feb. 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met a three-member delegation of the Manipur government led by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the PMO in Seva Teerth, New Delhi.

The delegation included Manipur's two Deputy Chief Ministers, Nemcha Kipgen of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Losii Dikho of the Naga People's Front (NPF). Kipgen, who hails from Kangpokpi district, is the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur.

The meeting marked the first official interaction between the Prime Minister and Khemchand since the latter assumed office as Chief Minister on February 4.
