Imphal, March 9 -- Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 3500 crore for Manipur.
Addressing a function at the City Convention Centre, the Chief Minister said the North Eastern States have witnessed a big change since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country.
He said the projects amounting to Rs 3500 crore included foundation stones for 36 projects for a total amount of Rs. 1748 crore and 45 projects inaugurated with a total amount of Rs 1703 crore.
