Imphal, June 30 -- A collective delegation of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from Manipur held a "significant and extensive" meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today in New Delhi.
A 19-member delegation representing three civil societies of Manipur took part in the meeting. Pratap Leishangthem, Secretary General, AMUCO, Khurayam Athouba, Convenor, COCOMI and B.M. Yaima Shah, President, FOCS said in a joint statement that the meeting commenced at 11:30 AM and continued for over three and a half hours.
