Imphal, Oct. 7 -- BJP MLAs from Manipur met in Delhi today amid mounting pressure on the central party leadership to fast-track the restoration of an elected government in the state. The legislators included former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, sources said.

A source said the legislators met to finalise their strategy and agenda before formally engaging with senior BJP leaders.

Sources said the delegation is likely to meet key central party figures tomorrow. Reports indicate that the MLAs are pushing for a swift approval to reconstitute a government under the "popular mandate" and address critical issues facing Manipur.
