Imphal, Oct. 9 -- A delegation of BJP legislators from Manipur now camping in Delhi is yet to get an appointment with the party chief JP Nadda or Home Minister Amit Shah. These MLAs are in Delhi share a common grouse of the central leaders' inability to even meet them, said a source.
Former chief minister N. Biren Singh, Speaker Th. Satyabrata and the MLAs have been in the national capital since October 4. Sources said they have not asked for an appointment with the Prime Minister as of now. The PM has not met any political leaders from Manipur since the outbreak of the crisis on May 3, 2023. Even during the recent visit to Manipur, the PM did not meet any MLA or civil society leaders.
