Imphal, June 28 -- Manipur BJP leaders, including state party chief A Sharda Devi, former chief minister N Biren Singh, party MLAs and functionaries held a closed door meeting today in the state capital and took stock of the latest political developments. The discussions centred around restoration of a popular government in the state.
Manipur was placed under President's rule on Feb 13 last.
Biren said the BJP "will take an appropriate decision at an appropriate time" on the formation of government in the state. The Centre may take a decision after reviewing the ground situation, he added.
