Imphal, Nov. 27 -- Security forces have arrested three militants, including a woman, for allegedly threatening to bomb the ongoing Sangai tourism festival in Manipur, police said on Thursday.
The arrests followed a joint operation by Manipur Police and Assam Rifles in response to a threatening video posted on Facebook on November 21, warning of a possible attack during Sangai Festival 2025. The three detained individuals are active cadres of KCP (MFL) and are reportedly involved in the incident.
In a separate operation on Wednesday, security forces and Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of PREPAK (PRO) from Top Awang Leikai, Imphal East.
