Imphal, Dec. 30 -- The People's Progressive Alliance Manipur (PPAM) has appealed to the multi-ethnic people of Manipur and all communities sharing the State's cultural heritage to work for peace as the year comes to an end and urged the Central Government to abandon what it described as "divisive policies" and instead uphold democracy, human rights, and the rule of law in Manipur.
The PPAM said that as Manipur enters 2026, it honours the resilience and dignity of its people amid what it termed "profound political and constitutional challenges."The organisation said it stood united with all communities in the pursuit of peace, justice, and coexistence.
