New Delhi, Dec. 26 -- A man was stabbed to death in Delhi's Welcome area, which lies in the northeast of the city, Delhi Police said on Friday.
The incident took place at 8.09 pm on Thursday at Z-Block near the Welcome Medical Store, police said, adding that the deceased has been identified as Suraj.
After receiving information about the case, police from Welcome police station deployed to the crime scene and found the victim injured. He was rushed to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where the attending doctors declared him 'brought dead.'A case under the relevant sections of the BNS has been registered at the police station, and an investigation into this matter is ongoing.
