New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- A man's decomposed body, wrapped in brown tape and sealed in a plastic bag, was found near the Hindon canal in East Delhi's Ghazipur area, Delhi Police said today.
According to the police, they received information on Saturday evening regarding a suspicious object lying near a dry bend of the Hindon canal, opposite Mulla Colony.
"Upon arriving at the scene, the Ghazipur Police team found a plastic bag wrapped tightly in brown tape. Opening it revealed a decomposed human body," a police officer said.
Continuing further, he said that as part of the investigation, the area was cordoned off, and the location was deployed with crime and forensic teams to collect evidence.
