Nashik, Aug. 19 -- An autorickshaw driver allegedly murdered his wife and then committed suicide by hanging himself in the city's Ambad area this morning, police said. The deceased have been identified as Chetan Nana Madkar (33) and his wife, Swati Chetan Madkar (27). According to police, the couple lived with their three children in the Phulenagar area of Panchavati. Chetan, who was a heavy drinker, would often quarrel with his wife. Due to his addiction, Swati had left him and was living with her mother at Chunchale Shivar. A few days ago, Chetan rented a room near his mother-in-law's house and started living with his wife and children again. Last night, a drunken Chetan got into a heated argument with Swati.
