Nashik, Oct. 7 -- A young man named Amol Meshram (43) was murdered in the early hours of today in Sabarmati Society, Jay Bhavani Road area of Nashik Road.
In a separate incident today, another young man allegedly murdered his mother with a sharp weapon in the Satpur area of Nashik city.
According to information received, the murdered woman has been identified as Mangala Gholap.
The suspect is her son, Swapnil Gholap, who reportedly has a history of marijuana addiction.
The police have taken Swapnil into custody, but the motive behind the attack is yet unclear.
