Barsar(HP), Dec. 6 -- In an explosion that took place atop a shop in Barsar town of Hamirpur today, a young man lost his four fingers and has been sent to the PGI Chandigarh for treatment.
The explosion was so severe and sudden that locals were taken by surprise.
It is said that 22-year-old Atul, a resident of Chhaproh, was seriously injured in the sudden blast. Four fingers on the injured youth's right hand were also severed. Due to his critical condition, he was referred from Civil Hospital Barsar to the PGI. Atul was working on the roof of his friend's bike repair shop when a loud explosion suddenly occurred, those present nearby said.
