Maharajganj, March 7 -- A shocking incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district, where a man accused of killing his wife with an axe allegedly committed suicide within 24 hours of the crime.
His body was found hanging inside his house on Friday afternoon in the Brijmanganj area.
According to police, Murtuza (25), a resident of Sauraha Khas village, had married Najma (23) about one-and-a-half years ago. Due to frequent disputes, Najma had been living at her parental home in Bargahpur for the past five months.
On Thursday, around 4 pm, Najma arrived at her in-laws' house with her parents, Ayesha and Buniyad Ali, to collect some of her belongings. As she was about to leave, Murtuza allegedly called her inside the house...
