Chennai, Aug. 5 -- In a shocking incident, a 36-year-old man hacked to
death his three young daughters and later committed suicide at Rasipuram
in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu due to mounting debts.
Police sources said Govindaraj had borrowed higher amount as loans for
constructing a new House.
Unable to pay them back, he was been facing huge debts and was in a
depressed condition.
Late last night, he hacked his dughters Prakthi (9), Rthika (7) and Devasri (3)
to hacked to death and later committed suicide by consuming poison.
The incident came to light this morning.
Police acting on information, broke open the doors and retrieved the bodies
and shifted them to government hospital for post mortem.
