Amalapuram, Feb. 27 -- In a shocking incident of honour killing, a man was brutally murdered for marrying a woman in Vemulapalli village of Mandapeta mandal in BR Ambedkar district.
Inspector P Dora Raju told the media that the deceased Polipalli Surya Prakash Rao (41) married Ainavilli Sandya, who is working as Deputy Tahsildar at Rayavaram. According to the family members, the deceased and Sandya had been in love for two years and got married on February 26 at hill shrine Annavaram temple.
The deceased was a cloth trader. The parents and elders of Sandya did not agree to the marriage as both belong to different castes.
