Kolkata, Jan. 2 -- A 46-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his divorced daughter after a long-running dispute over her stay at their ancestral home in Bankura district.
The incident came to light after the decomposed body of 22-year-old Bhavani Mal was recovered from an abandoned well inside a forest area at Digshuli under Onda police station limits on December 31.
Police later confirmed that the victim had been missing for nearly two weeks and that her father, Ishan Mal, was responsible for the crime.
