Bulandshahr (UP), Aug. 28 -- A rape accused was today sentenced to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 50,000 by a local court in Bulandshahr district here in Uttar Pradesh, a public prosecutor said here.
Public Prosecutor Sunil Sharma said that Lalit alias Nepali, resident of Dhak Nagla village under Narora police station, raped a minor girl in the year 2023. "The police lodged a case on August 4, 2023 and filed the charge sheet in the court on August 8," he said.
