Bhubaneswar, Aug. 13 -- In a swift delivery of justice, a Special POCSO court in Odisha's Jharsuguda district today convicted a man to life term, 99 days after he sexually assaulted a
visually impaired minor girl.
The accused raped the minor on May 2 last when she had paid a visit to former's house. The accused was living in the close proximity of the victim's house. The accused committed the
crime as his family members were fast asleep.
After sexually abusing, he threatened the visually impaired girl with death if she told anyone about this incident.
Police, acting on the complaint lodged by rape survivor's father, launched a manhunt and arrested
