Nagpur, Oct. 16 -- A 33-year-old man died of suspected electrocution during a pool party at a farmhouse in Kanhan near Nagpur, police said today.
Mayur Sudhakar Mandogade, employed with a private finance firm, collapsed after reportedly coming into contact with an exposed wire in the pool.
Friends pulled him out and attempted CPR before taking him to Cantonment Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Preliminary police findings revealed exposed, tape-covered wires near the pool. Eyewitnesses said alcohol and hookah were being consumed and some blamed poor electrical maintenance.
