Itanagar, July 14 -- A 22-year-old man from Assam's Biswanath district succumbed to bullet injuries in the early hours today at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun.
The deceased has been identified as Shankar Pegu, a resident of Borajuli village under Jinjiya
Police Station in Biswanath district.
According to reports, the victim was brought to TRIHMS on Sunday night-between 10 and 11 pm-by the accused, identified as Tadar Bhai (32), a resident of Sagalee, Papum Pare district. The incident is said to have occurred around 4 pm on Sunday near Ethi river, located approximately 6 km north of Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district.
