Patna, April 16 -- A 25-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in Patna's Shastri Nagar area on Wednesday, police said.
Police sources said that a youth committed suicide by hanging himself from the neck in West Patel Nagar locality.
The deceased has been identified as Bablu Kumar (28). He used to work as a painter. The cause of suicide has not been known.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) for postmortem, sources said.
The matter is under investigation.
