Kolkata, Oct. 8 -- In a deeply disturbing and tragic incident, a man allegedly ended his life by hanging himself after brutally killing his wife and minor son in Beldanga, a locality in West Bengal's Murshidabad district last night.
The deceased have been identified as Sanjit Halder (40), his wife Mousumi Halder (28), and their seven-year-old son Rayan Halder.
According to the police, the horrifying sequence of events came to light today morning when Sanjit's mother made the gruesome discovery inside their residence.
As per her statement to the police, she had gone to check on her son early in the morning and was shocked to find him hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom.
