Bokaro, Nov. 21 -- A 28-year-old man allegedly committed suicide late Wednesday night in Jharkhand's Bokaro district after a quarrel with his wife.
The deceased has been identified as Shankar Prasad.
According to local residents, Shankar, who had lost both his parents, lived with his wife Lakshmi alias Riya and their daughter. He worked as a daily wage labourer to support his family.
On Wednesday night, he reportedly returned home in an intoxicated state, after which a heated argument ensued between him and his wife. As the dispute escalated, Shankar allegedly forced his wife out of the house and locked the door from inside.
