Nagpur, April 4 -- A man has been booked for allegedly creating and circulating a video accusing Maharashtra Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule of amassing large land assets, police officials said.
According to officials, the video, which contained allegations regarding the minister's properties, was shared across social media platforms.
Based on this, police registered a case against the individual for making defamatory claims.
Reacting to the incident, Bawankule on Saturday dismissed the allegations as false and baseless and warned that he would initiate legal action against those responsible.
