Gorakhpur, Nov. 4 -- Gorakhpur police have arrested a man from Punjab for allegedly abusing and threatening to kill BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan over the phone.
The accused has been identified as Ajay Kumar Yadav, son of Rampher Yadav, a resident of House No. 1703/07, Street No. 3, Fatehgarh Mohalla, Bagga Kalan, Ludhiana (Punjab). Police brought him to Gorakhpur after taking his transit remand and lodged him in the jail.
According to police reports, a few days ago the accused called Ravi Kishan on his mobile phone, used abusive language, and issued life threats. Following the incident, the MP filed a formal complaint.
