Shimla, Dec. 8 -- Professor Mamta Mokta, Dean (Students' Welfare) at Himachal Pradesh University, has been appointed as a member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC).
A notification issued by the Department of Personnel on Monday, states that Professor Mokta will serve a six-year term from the day she assumes office or until she attains the age of 62 years, whichever comes earlier. Her service conditions would be governed by the HPPSC (Members) Regulations, 1974.
The appointment order, issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, has been circulated to senior state officials and the HPPSC Secretariat.
