Kolkata, April 25 -- West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee, who is contesting from the Bhabanipur Assembly Constituency, stormed off the stage at a campaign meet in Chakraberia area on Saturday evening alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was not letting her conduct the meeting.
Mamata walked off the stage barely minutes after she started speaking, stating that people were not being able to hear her as the sound from another set of microphones from the rival BJP camp was interfering in her speech.
The Chief Minister was at a pre-poll campaign meeting at ward 70 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in a largely residential locality called Chakraberia, in Bhabanipur.
