Kolkata, Jan. 20 -- Months away from the Assembly polls, Singur is taking the centre stage in West Bengal politics with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee deciding to hold an administrative meeting there on December 28.
The decision comes just a couple of days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the aborted Tata Nano ground last Sunday and attended two programmes.
He first chaired an administrative meeting and later addressed a public rally, from where he launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress on several issues.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister will hold the meeting on the same ground and distribute the benefits of various government schemes to beneficiaries.
