Kolkata, July 29 -- A day after the Delhi police rejected Mamata Banerjee's claim that a Bengali-speaking woman and her child were assaulted by their personnel, the West Bengal Chief Minister today challenged the Delhi Police claiming that the video was real.

"I spoke about that child yesterday (Monday). They were taken from one police station to another, one after another. I had mentioned it in the meeting yesterday itself - check the record. I had said they would be threatened, and that was exactly what had happened. We want those who were 'attacked' to return. And then the truth will come out - who is right and who is lying will be proven," the chief minister said, while addressing a government programme in Illambazar, Birbhum.
