Kolkata, Aug. 29 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today announced that more than one crore people have already visited the Amader Para, Amader Samadhan (APAS) camps, less than a month after the flagship initiative was launched to bring governance directly to the people.

In a post on her X handle, Banerjee said she was "extremely happy and proud" that within just 26 days, nearly 14,500 camps across Bengal had received such overwhelming public participation.
