Thiruvananthapuram, March 25 -- Maldivian Airlines has completed 18 years of operations in Kerala, reinforcing its role in strengthening air connectivity between India and the Maldives.

The milestone highlights the airline's sustained presence in the South Indian market since commencing services in 2008.

According to Managing Director Ibrahim Iyas, India continues to be a strategically important market for the airline, contributing significantly to passenger traffic and regional connectivity.

Maldivian currently operates multiple routes connecting Kerala and the Maldives. The airline runs five weekly flights each on the Male-Thiruvananthapuram and Male-Kochi sectors, while the Hanimaadhoo-Thiruvananthapuram service operates twice a week....
