Colombo, April 20 -- The Maldivian government has formally commenced operations on "Tradian," a national single-window platform designed to streamline import and export procedures, the island nation's state media reported on Sunday.
Officials expect the platform's adoption to enhance efficiency and eliminate administrative bottlenecks, providing a smoother process for those engaged in international commerce, PSM News said.
The state media described the rollout of the digital platform a significant step in President Mohamed Muizzu's digitalisation agenda, "which seeks to improve trade infrastructure and expand accessibility for local businesses".
