Kuala Lumpur, Feb. 10 -- Malaysian authorities announced on Monday the crippling of two drug trafficking syndicates in separate operations around Selangor state and the capital, Kuala Lumpur, with the seizure of drugs valued at 12.88 million ringgit (2.88 million U.S. dollars).
Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Khaw Kok Chin told a press briefing that on Feb. 4, the police successfully crippled a syndicate involved in the processing of MDMA powder, following several raids carried out in the Klang Valley.
