Kuala Lumpur, July 8 -- The Malaysian government said today that it remains committed to continued engagement with the US to reach a "balanced" and "mutually beneficial" trade agreement. It however has emphasised that imposition of 25 percent tariff rates on Malaysian exports is potentially disruptive to business operations and supply chains.
