Chennai, June 6 -- C P Chacko, father of Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko,
was killed on the spot and four others--three of his family members and the driver
of the car in which they were travelling--were injured in a road accident at Palacode
in Dharmaapuri district of Tamil Nadu on Friday.
According to reports, the actor was traveling with his parents and brother when their
vehicle rammed into the rear side of a lorry proceeding ahead.
They were on their way to Bengaluru from Kochi when the accident occurred near
Parayur village on the Dharmapuri National Highway.
All the four occupants in the vehicle, sustained injuries, and were immediately rushed
to a nearby hospital, where CP Chacko (70) succumbed to his injuries.
