Aizawl, March 30 -- Mizoram has made significant strides in achieving the targets set under India's malaria eradication programme, which aims for zero indigenous cases by 2030. However, four districts bordering Bangladesh and Myanmar continue to lag behind, posing a challenge to the state's overall progress, a senior health official said on Sunday.
India's malaria eradication efforts follow a multi-pronged approach under the National Framework for Malaria Elimination (NFME) launched in 2016, focusing on enhanced surveillance, rapid case management, and integrated vector control.
