Jamui, March 18 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said making the state's youth skilled and self-reliant is the government's top priority, aimed at ensuring maximum employment opportunities and a secure future.
During a review meeting of development and welfare schemes in Jamui under the 'Samriddhi Yatra', Kumar assessed the progress of previously announced projects and sought detailed updates from officials.
He said the government has set a target of providing jobs and employment opportunities to one crore youths over the next five years. Various incentives and facilities are being extended to promote industries as well as self-employment in the state, he added.
