Dharamshala, Sept. 10 -- In a major initiative to harness technology and online platforms for tourism promotion, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has signed an agreement with leading travel company MakeMyTrip, it was announced here today.
With this tie-up, 56 hotels of the corporation will now be available for online booking through the MakeMyTrip portal.
Addressing a press conference, HPTDC Chairman R.S. Bali said: "In today's digital era, online booking is essential. By joining hands with MakeMyTrip, our hotels will reach a much wider market, and tourists can book them conveniently from their homes," he said.
