Imphal, July 5 -- Students, teachers, and parents took out rallies in different parts of the state today organised by the Coordinating Committee on Disturbance-Free Education Zone.
After the rally a memorandum was submitted by M. Lokendro Singh, Chairman, Co-ordinating Committee on Disturbance-Free Educational Zone Demand, and Mayengbam Somorjit Meitei. Convenor, Coordinating Committee on Disturbance-Free Educational Zone Demand.
The Committee reiterated that education must remain uninterrupted under all circumstances and appealed to all stakeholders to support the demand for a secure and free academic environment. They demanded to declare the education sector in Manipur as a Disturbance-Free Zone.
