Ranchi, Nov. 19 -- Significant infrastructural upgrades are set to take place at Ranchi Railway Station, with extensive yard remodelling and interlocking work scheduled from December 10.
The work is slated to be completed in January 2026. Owing to these works, services of 17 trains operating between Ranchi and Hatia will face either complete or partial cancellation during the period. The Railway authorities have urged passengers to plan their travel accordingly.
As part of the project, the Ranchi-Lohardaga platform will be extended to accommodate long-distance trains such as the Rajdhani Express. Platform number 6 is also slated for expansion, enabling trains arriving from Hatia to halt there as well. Once the yard remodelling is complete...
