Palghar, Nov. 16 -- Two separate bus-related incidents were reported in Jawhar taluka of Palghar district on Saturday, resulting in multiple injuries but no loss of life.
The first accident occurred when a Jawhar-Aina bus suffered a sudden brake failure near the Chauthachiwadi bus stop, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The bus subsequently collided with an electricity pole and then struck an unoccupied residential structure situated alongside the road.
A total of twenty passengers sustained injuries in this accident. Those with serious injuries were shifted to medical facilities in Nashik and Dahanu for further treatment, while the remaining injured passengers were admitted to Jawhar Kutir Hospital.
