Nagpur, Dec. 14 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) suffered a major political setback in Akola after the party's city chief and group leader in the outgoing municipal corporation, Rajesh Mishra, along with four corporators, joined the Shiv Sena led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The induction took place in Nagpur at Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's official residence, Devgiri, in his presence.
Along with Rajesh Mishra, corporators Gajanan Chavan, Anita Mishra, and Pramila Geete formally joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Several former corporators and Shiv Sena's deputy district chief Tarun Bagre also entered the party.
