Agra, Jan. 5 -- A major road accident occurred in Agra district on the Gwalior Highway due to dense fog, leading to a collision involving nearly half a dozen vehicles.
The tragic incident claimed the lives of two people, while several others were injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment, police said on Monday.
According to information, the accident took place early in the morning on Monday near the village of Nagla Imli under the Iradat Nagar police station area. One after another, around six vehicles collided on the highway, resulting in a serious crash.
Two people died on the spot, and more than half a dozen sustained serious injuries.
