Ahilyanagar, Nov. 21 -- Senior Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat said here on Thursday that a major political upheaval is inevitable in Maharashtra, with intense discontent brewing within the Mahayuti alliance partners.
Referring to the boycott of the recent cabinet meeting by ministers from the Shinde faction and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's direct complaint to union Home Minister Amit Shah against BJP state president Ravindra Chavan, Thorat said these incidents are not ordinary. They clearly indicate widespread unrest within the ruling alliance.
